Meow Mix Wholesome Goodness -- Healthy ??
I got a free sample of the Meow Mix Wholesome Goodness. My cat loved it and now I'm thinking about switching. He currently eats Special Kitty mixed with Purina's Indoor Formula. I know these foods contain unhealthy by-products, but I'm afraid I won't be able to afford a healthier food on my budget and I'm not interested in wet food... sorry.
Has anyone else fed their cat Wholesome Goodness?
Also, do you know of healthy cat treats (store brands). I'm afraid of the Whiskas Temptations, but I'm unsure of any others. I've fed him Purina Whisker Lickin's for a while.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
as a rule of thumb, if you can buy it in the grocery store, you probably shouldn't be feeding it to your cat.
You want a food with no by-products, no added fats, minimal carbohydrate. Minimal preservatives. If you can get a holistic (hormone free) food, even better!
meaw mix does not fit into that category.
