What am I doing wrong with my underground electric fence?
So here's my setup - From the transmitter in my garage, I ran twisted wire through the wall and spliced it to the twisted wire that runs the length of my house (just spliced one twisted wire to one twisted wire, and the other wire to the other one, so two splices)....I ran twisted wire along the lenght of my house to cancel the signal there. At each end of the house, the wire 3 way splices with a single wire, which runs the perimeter of my yard. After spending hours setting it up, I plugged in the transmitter and turned it on. The indicator light indicated a full circuit, so I figured I was golden. However, the collar picks up no stimulation whatsoever...no beeps or shocks at all. Does anyone know what I did wrong? I used waterproof splice holders at all splice areas.
actually I have less splices than most of the diagrams in the manual show...so I don't think that is it.

Why Choose an Underground Dog Fence?
An underground dog fence would allow your dog to have the freedom of your entire garden (depending on how big it is of course and how much wire you intend to lay).
the downside to an underground dog fence is that you need to dig a trench to lay the wire which takes time of course. However the signal from the underground dog fence seems to be stronger than the wireless pet fence.
The difference between the two?
They both will keep your pet safe and behind the line. The wireless pet fence provides your pet with a circular area of freedom while the underground dog fence can be circular as well as triangle or whatever area you wish to contain your pet in.
